Dr. Jamal Al-Kandari is a leading consultant ophthalmologist in Kuwait, specializing in vitreo-retinal surgery and complex retinal diseases. With over 25 years of medical and surgical experience, he is known for his patient-centered care, surgical precision, and pioneering contributions to eye health in the Gulf region.

After completing his medical degrees in Kuwait, Dr. Jamal pursued advanced training in Canada, earning his Fellowship from the Royal College of Surgeons (F.R.C.S.) and completing a prestigious Retinal Surgery Fellowship at St. Michael’s Hospital, University of Toronto. Since returning to Kuwait, he has been at the forefront of ophthalmology innovation and education.
